NORTH MANCHESTER HISTORICAL SOCIETY AS
“2009 OUTSTANDING
  HISTORICAL ORGANIZATION”

On December 7, 2009, the Indiana Historical Society recognized the North Manchester Historical Society as the "Outstanding Historical Organization" for the year 2009 in Indiana. We are extremely proud to have received this annual state-wide award. Everyone is to be congratulated for their hard work and continuing efforts. This special recognition is given annually to a local or county historical society, organization or site in Indiana "which has demonstrated remarkable public services and programs to its community." The awards dinner and ceremony took place in the Eli Lilly Hall of the Indiana Historical Society building in Indianapolis.
